Cookie Policy
What this website stores in your browser, what it is for, and how to get rid of it.

The short version
This site sets no cookies of its own. The only cookies come from Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, which tells us how many people visit and which pages they read. Separately, the accessibility settings panel remembers your choices in your browser, and that information never leaves your device.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Tag Manager (container GTM-MDPSDLG8) to load Google Analytics. These cookies record things like which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and whether you had been to the site before.
They are set by Google, not by us, and they typically expire within two years. We use the result only in aggregate, to understand which pages are useful. We do not use it to identify individual people, and we cannot connect it to a contact form submission.
If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics on every site that uses it, and your browser settings can block these cookies too. See the section below.
Accessibility settings
The accessibility button in the bottom-left corner of every page lets you increase the text size, switch on high contrast, and underline every link. So those choices survive moving between pages, they are stored in your browser under three names:
rdc-a11y-text-step, your chosen text sizerdc-a11y-underline, whether links are underlinedrdc-a11y-contrast, whether high contrast is on
These are stored using local storage rather than cookies, which means they are never transmitted anywhere. We cannot see them. They sit on your device and nowhere else.
The Reset to Default button in that panel removes all three. Switching high contrast off also clears its entry rather than recording that you turned it off, so trying it once leaves nothing behind.
Fonts
The typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts. That sets no cookies, but requesting a file from any server involves your IP address reaching it, and this is no different.
What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting pixels.
- No social media tracking scripts.
- No session recording or heatmap tools.
- No cookies set by this site itself.
Managing cookies
Every major browser can block or delete cookies, usually under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking analytics cookies will not stop this website working. Nothing here depends on them.
Clearing your browser storage also clears the accessibility preferences described above, which simply means the panel starts fresh next time.
Changes
If we add or remove anything that stores information in your browser, this page is updated and the date at the top changes.
